Finalmente qualche notizia sulla data delle riprese:

The independent feature film I Love You Phillip Morris starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor is in pre-production in New Orleans with shooting scheduled from May 5 through June 30.

La pellicola è basata su un vero fatto di cronaca accaduto in una prigione del Texas. McGregor non vede l'ora di cominciare le riprese, che partiranno tra qualche mese, e lo ha rivelato al magazine 'Empire'. "È quasi un anno che non lavoro, ho voluto del tempo per girare l'Africa, ma ora è il momento di tornare sul set. Poterlo fare al fianco di un attore come Jim Carrey è fantastico".
