Sul sito di Nat Geo Adventure c'é una pagina intera dedicata al programma dove è anche
possibile vedere lo spot televisivo.
Tre anni dopo aver circumnavigato il mondo dalla Scozia alla Siberia, l’attore Ewan McGregor e il suo amico di lunga data Charley Boorman montano di nuovo in sella alle loro moto, questa volta verso sud. Partiranno dal punto più settentrionale della terraferma, il promontorio John O'Groats in Scozia, attraverseranno il continente africano per giungere al punto più meridionale, Città del Capo in Sud Africa. Sarà questa l’ultima meta di un viaggio di 85 giorni che li porterà in Inghilterra, Francia, Italia, Tunisia, Libia, Egitto, Sudan, Etiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Ruanda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana e Namibia. La loro voglia di avventura incontrerà la bellezza dei paesaggi africani e l’enorme ricchezza culturale dei popoli di questo immenso e variegato continente. Ewan e Charley incontreranno diverse genti e visiteranno organizzazioni umanitarie come UNICEF, CHAS, Riders for Health che lavorano sul territorio. Non è difficile immaginare che il loro viaggio in Africa sarà intenso anche dal punto di vista emotivo e psicologico, sicuramente un’esperienza unica nella vita.

C'é un sacco di roba in più rispetto alla serie originale da 6 episodi, meno male che stanno trasmettendo le nuove puntate speciali!!

Anche se il doppiaggio è di tutto rispetto (tra l'altro per Ewan hanno chiamato Christian Iansante, già suo doppiatore in Trainspotting - sebbene io non lo adori) mi sembra comunque strano sentire un documentario doppiato. Avrei gradito il doppio audio come molti programmi di Sky.
